The Tyranny of Dragons

WARNING!The first campaign that most of this group played was Tyranny of Dragons. This campaign consisted of two books, The Hoard of the Dragon Queeen, and The Rise of Tiamat. This page will offer a high level overview of the events that happened in this saga and may contain spoilers to the Tyranny of Dragon.

The Fall of the Dragon Reign

The reign of dragons has ended. Tiamat was banished to the nine hells 200 years ago. With the dragon goddess gone, the chromatic dragons return to a more animalistic way of life. The organized dragon faction falls apart as many retreat back to their caves and hordes in solitude. The last great threat of the dragon died when the final organized group retreated in a battle between them, Cloud, and Fog Giants in the Giantspire Mountains.

With the dragon threat practically gone, most of Faerun has been able to rebuild. Throughout the land, there are statues of Ragnar and Finn, testaments to the hero's work of banishing Tiamat. Ragnar died while putting Tiamat back. Finn has been long thought dead, but there are rumors of him living in the GrayPeak Mountains just west of his old home, Parnast.
